WISHFUL THINKING (USA AMPEX A-10123) 1971 Produced by Lou Reizner with 10 songs written by Dave, this album by the British group 'Wishful Thinking' was released in the UK in 1971 on the B&C label. Initially the album made little impact however, in 1978, the album was re-released by Global Records and sold well in excess of 1,000,000 copies in Germany, where it remained in the charts for 41 weeks. An later updated variation renamed 'Wishful Thinking' had Dave's the song 'The Crash at Honolu' added to the listing. |

This re-working of the Dave's song reached number 4 in the German charts, and climbed high in most European charts (but not the UK). Sandra's album 'Paintings in Yellow' featuring the hit Hiroshima version sold over 250,000 in Germany. |
