The Move (UK Regal Zonophone RZ3015, Italy IL NIL 9015)

1969  Single by The Move - A side 'Blackberry Way', written by Roy Wood, made Number One in the British charts. Unusually, 'Something' was recorded in Italian also.

WISHFUL THINKING
(USA AMPEX A-10123)
1971 Produced by Lou Reizner with 10 songs written by Dave, this album by the British group 'Wishful Thinking' was released in the UK in 1971 on the B&C label. Initially the album made little impact however, in 1978, the album was re-released by Global Records and sold well in excess of 1,000,000 copies in Germany, where it remained in the charts for 41 weeks. An later updated variation renamed 'Wishful Thinking' had Dave's the song 'The Crash at Honolu' added to the listing.

Hiroshima, Hiroshima (Extended Version), Hiroshima (Dub Mix), Heaven can wait.
This re-working of the Dave's song reached number 4 in the German charts, and climbed high in most European charts (but not the UK). Sandra's album 'Paintings in Yellow' featuring the hit Hiroshima version sold over 250,000 in Germany.

1973  Paradox - US 7" single Eversince I can remember / 'Goodbye Mary', 2 songs by Dave recorded by Paradox (lead singer was Bob Catley, later in Magnum). Dave was a member of Paradox for a time but this was after he had left.

1975  Magnum - UK single Sweets for my sweet / Movin on. Dave sang lead on the famous Searchers hit. The B-side was written by Tony Clarkin.  1979  Dave Morgan - UK 7" single One More Day / Princeton. The recording of Princeton was used later on the Earthrise album.
1976  Magnum - Dave's song Baby I need, recorded  with producer Roger Greenaway but not released.

This compilation by various artists was on UK release in 1986, the proceeds going to The West Midlands Children's Hospice. It featuring the following musicians (all from Birmingham): Tandy/Morgan Band, Roy Wood, Steve Gibbons, UB 40, Magnum, The Moody Blues, Joan Armatrading, Ruby Turner, Giltrap and Stephen Duffy.

This concept album was created with Richard Tandy, in 1983-84. Recording contributors included Carl Wayne, Tony Clarkin (Magnum), Kevin Peek (Sky). The 1986 release included the track 'Caesar of the Galaxy', later dropped.

This recording was mainly created on Tape in 1992 and sold via ELO Face The Music fanzine. Various titles from this work were released again on Compact Disc 5 years later on the CALL CD. All titles written by Dave Morgan. One title was produced by someone called Otis Wilbury....

The first and only work by Tandy Morgan Smith (Richard Tandy, Dave Morgan and Martin Smith), released in 1992 . This project had 17 titles, all written by DM ecxept 'Enola sad' by Richard Tandy. 'Run little girl' from film 'Distortions' Initially ELO Face the Music Fanzine only.
Previously un-released material recorded 85-87. 

CALL

1997 (UK CDM 97) A compilation of 16 Christian tracks, some previously found on 'All God's Blessings' cassette. Includes a re-arranged version of 'This Is The Day' (origianlly the B side of the single 'Berlin' by R&D), produced by Richard Tandy together with Dave. One title was produced by Jeff Lynne - 'God's Good Time'.  All titles written by Dave.

LONG WAY HOME

1999 Second solo Christian work, this album was recorded with the help of musicians Mark Jago and Tony Kelsey as well as Dave's wife Mandy. Titles include 'Runaway', 'Long Way Home', 'Ben's Song', 'Pathways' and 'Day Of God's Favour'. Step 2 released in 2000 with additional track and remixes. All titles written by Dave Morgan.

2001 (UK R201) 
A collection of 16 love and  fun songs from yesteryears cupboard. Includes 'Modeste' and 'Nothing Says' written by Jim Cleary, and 'Yes it is' by John Lennon & Paul McCartney.
ANGEL LIGHT

Angel Light Christmas CD
2002 (UK LMA1) 9-track Christmas CD. Angel Light includes 'Bethlehem Town' and 'Christmas Bells' (previously released on vinyl and cassette only). CD produced in conjunction with Luis Miguel Alcala, Valencia, Spain.

2004  (CMQCD919 SANCTUARY RECORDS)  Compilation of 23 recordings by THE UGLY'S, a 60s Birmingham group I used to be part of. 6 of the tracks are songs of mine, including rare recordings of 'I've seen the Light' (1969), and a demo of 'Mary Colinto' recorded with Carl Wayne and Trevor Burton circa 1970.
